Urban Suburban

The kitchen of this Geneva, Illinois home was the last room of the house touched by the homeowner. Striking bamboo flooring was brought in from the foyer, and the kitchen evolved from the ground up. The homeowners were very active in the design and selection process, making it a fun and thought-provoking project. The remodel united two formerly disconnected areas; a wall was removed to bring the kitchen from a back corner to front and center, making it perfect for entertaining and everyday activities revolving around their two young boys. The result is a modern charmer, evoking the senses and emitting the engaging personalities of its residents.
